Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 2026-07-09 Last updated: 2026-07-09
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the conduct required of everyone who accesses or uses the Tradesense service made available at app.tradesense.tech by Alphaservus Consulting Services Ltd., trading as "tradesense technologies" (the "Service"). The AUP is part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
The Service is a software platform that Brokers use to administer Trader accounts on the Match-Trader platform, and that Traders use to author and run trading Strategies. The AUP protects the integrity of the Service, the safety of its users, and Tradesense's ability to operate lawfully.
2. Prohibited Activities
You must not, and must not attempt to, use the Service (or use another service in conjunction with the Service) to do any of the following:
Trading integrity
- Engage in market manipulation of any kind, including pump-and-dump schemes, spoofing, layering, wash trading, marking-the-close, or coordinated manipulation across accounts.
- Engage in insider trading or trade on material non-public information.
- Engage in front-running of client, Broker, or third-party orders.
- Use the Service to facilitate benchmark manipulation or any other form of trading abuse.
Platform controls
- Circumvent, disable, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent any risk cap, kill switch, position limit, margin control, or similar safety control configured by a Broker or by Tradesense.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, authorisation, rate limiting, or other technical controls.
Account integrity
- Create fake, duplicate, or misleading accounts.
- Share your account credentials with, or allow account access by, any other person.
- Register on behalf of a person who has not consented, or impersonate any person or organisation.
- Use the Service under a name or identity other than your own (or, for Broker admins, other than the organisation you are authorised to represent).
Platform abuse
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond the data associated with your own account and beyond what is provided through documented APIs.
- Introduce, upload, or transmit any virus, worm, trojan, malicious code, or other harmful component.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' use of the Service, including by making excessive API calls, denial-of-service attacks, or resource-exhaustion attempts.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system without our prior written authorisation (see Section 5 for how to report vulnerabilities).
Legal and regulatory
- Use the Service for any activity that violates applicable law, including money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, tax evasion, or fraud.
- Use the Service to trade on behalf of a person or entity subject to sanctions administered by the UN, EU, UK, US, or Cyprus authorities.
- Use the Service in a jurisdiction where such use, or the underlying leveraged trading, is unlawful for you.
Content and conduct
- Upload, submit, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or that infringes any intellectual-property or privacy right.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications ("spam") or to phish, defraud, or otherwise harm any other user.
Copy-trading and signal distribution
- Subscribing to another Trader's Strategy via the platform's built-in subscription mechanism is explicitly permitted and is a supported use of the Service.
- Distributing signals, trade calls, or automated copy-trade instructions to third parties OUTSIDE the platform (for example, via paid Telegram signal groups, third-party copy-trade aggregators, or reselling execution automation) is not permitted without prior written consent from Tradesense.
3. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, or of any security issue affecting the Service, please report it to us at report@tradesense.tech or support@tradesense.tech. Include as much detail as you can (account, timestamps, URLs, screenshots). We treat security reports confidentially where possible.
4. Enforcement
We take AUP violations seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, and taking into account any applicable legal or contractual obligations, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Warning — a written notice describing the issue and the required corrective action.
- Feature restriction or temporary suspension — pausing specific features (for example, disabling automated Strategy execution) or suspending an account pending investigation.
- Termination — permanent closure of the offending account under our Terms of Service.
- Law-enforcement or regulatory referral — reporting to competent authorities where we believe a violation may involve serious wrongdoing, including any suspected market abuse, money laundering, terrorism financing, or sanctions breach.
Serious violations (including any form of market abuse, sanctions breach, or attempted platform compromise) may result in immediate termination without prior warning.
5. Account Freezes and Investigations
Where we reasonably suspect a material AUP violation, we may freeze the affected account (blocking sign-in, disabling automated Strategies, or pausing new orders through the Service) for as long as necessary to investigate. Any such freeze is limited to what is legally permissible and is limited to the Service; it does not, and cannot, freeze funds held with your Broker.
6. Important Notice — Tradesense Is Not the Broker of Record
Tradesense is a software provider. Tradesense is not the broker of record and does not hold client funds. Your trading account and any funds in it are held by the Broker organisation with which you signed up on the Match-Trader platform.
This means:
- AUP enforcement by Tradesense affects your access to and use of the Service only.
- Any action affecting the trading account itself (deposits, withdrawals, position closures, account closure, disputes about executions) must be raised with, and is subject to the terms of, your Broker.
- Where your conduct on the Service may also breach your Broker's own terms or applicable regulation, your Broker may take separate action of its own.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, the trading landscape, or applicable law. Material changes will be notified with at least thirty (30) days' notice by email and via an in-app banner. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the change constitutes acceptance.
